When rumors existed that he was potentially almost two-hundred years old, NYTimes magazine published an interview with him in 1933, and famous general in Taiwan brought him over to learn his longevity techniques.

Now, I don’t think Li really lived to be 197. And I don’t think he lived to be over 200 years old. But he did give some very interesting longevity advice. His advice was about four daily habits that allowed him to have a very long lifespan, and they are right in line with many of the lifestyle practices important to Chinese medicine.
